“Reading the Forest” at Nina Park
This summer, beyond the 7-day Hong Kong Book Fair, Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) presents "Cultural July.Joyful Summer Reading", an initiative dedicated to fostering a citywide culture of reading. By bringing together partners from across sectors, the programme sets out to create a vibrant cultural celebration for all.
As one of the participating partners, Nina Park will host a series of plant-themed cultural experiences every weekend in July, inviting visitors to read nature as if it were a living book. On the first two Sundays, thematic talks will delve into the characteristics and planting strategies of landscape trees, followed by an exploration of common aromatic plants and their everyday uses. Later in the month, special editions of the “Breathe with Trees” guided tour will offer an immersive journey through the park, culminating in a creative session where participants transform fallen leaves and natural materials into unique collage artworks.
This July, take a step into Nina Park and let its lush greenery offer a refreshing retreat – a place to unwind, cool down and reconnect with nature.
