This summer, in addition to the seven-day Hong Kong Book Fair, HKTDC is launching "Cultural July．Joyful Summer Reading". This event aims to promote a culture of reading and invites various organizations to join in creating a citywide cultural celebration.
As one of the partners for this event, Nina Park will host diverse cultural activities every Sunday in July. Event 3: Thematic talk: Exploring Paleontology and Fossils
Fossils are the key to unlocking the prehistoric world! Throughout Earth's 4.6 billion years of history, countless types of ancient creatures have existed. Besides the well-known dinosaurs, there are many other equally fascinating ancient creatures. This talk will take you into the world of paleontology, where you will learn about what ancient creatures are, how they are classified, as well as the processes of fossil formation and preservation.
With the fossil specimens, fossil expert Mr. Lung Tak Chun will guide participants in exploring various representative ancient creatures, unveiling their mysteries.
