Nina Park Visitor Guidelines
Welcome to Nina Park.
Nina Park is dedicated to preserving precious wood fossils and promoting nature education, while providing all visitors with a safe, comfortable and enjoyable experience. To ensure public safety and to protect the exhibits and natural environment within Nina Park, please observe these guidelines, all posted notices and instructions from Nina Park staffs. We kindly invite you to help maintain the park's order and care for its exhibits.
1. Respect for Fossils and the Natural Environment
The fossils and exhibits displayed at Nina Park are valuable natural heritage. Visitors are encouraged to appreciate and help protect them.
• Outdoor wood fossils may be touched gently for appreciation. Please handle them with care.
• Do not climb on, sit or lie on, lean against, move or damage any wood fossils, trees, exhibits, art installations or other park facilities.
• Do not enter flowerbeds or planted areas.
• Do not pick, damage or remove any plants, soil, turf, fossils or other natural resources.
• Do not feed, capture, disturb or release any animals or insects.
• Please keep the park clean: do not litter or spit and dispose of all waste in the designated bins.
• Do not pollute the park's water features or surrounding environment.
2. Pet-Friendly Guidelines
Visitors are welcome to bring pets to Nina Park.
• Pets must be carried at all times or kept in a pet stroller or pet carrier throughout the visit (except guide dogs).
• Visitors must keep their pets under proper control at all times. Pets must not damage or contaminate the natural environment, wood fossils, exhibits or art installations, nor cause disturbance to other visitors, animals or the park environment.
• Do not allow pets to foul within the park. Any pet waste must be cleaned up immediately.
3. Safety and Public Order
Nina Park is committed to providing a safe, peaceful and comfortable environment for recreation and activities. Closed-circuit television (CCTV) systems are in operation within the park for security purposes.
To ensure visitors’ safety, maintain public order and protect park assets, visitors must not:
• Engage in any behaviour or activity that is disruptive, aggressive, unlawful or detrimental to public safety.
• Smoke, light fires, barbecue or cook food by any means within the park.
• Lie down or step on the park facilities.
• Run, chase others or enter areas that are closed or restricted.
• Neglect the supervision of accompanying children, elderly or other individuals requiring assistance.
• Consume alcoholic beverages within the park without prior permission from Nina Park Management Office.
4. Visitor Experience, Photography and Filming
Nina Park welcomes visitors to enjoy the fossils, take photographs, sketch and participate in nature-related experiences.
• All visitors should respect the rights of others to enjoy the park and must not occupy space, obstruct access or interfere with the enjoyment of exhibits and facilities by others.
• Photography and videography for personal use are permitted, provided they do not disrupt other visitors or interfere with the normal operation of the park.
• Commercial photography, filming, live streaming, audio recording or media activities require prior written approval from Nina Park Management Office.
• Nina Park may photograph, film or record within the park for operational, educational, promotional and archival purposes without prior notice.

5. Activities Requiring Prior Approval
To ensure a pleasant experience for all visitors, the following activities are not permitted without prior written approval from Nina Park Management Office:
• Commercial, promotional, marketing, sales, solicitation, fee-charging or other non-private activities.
• Assemblies, speeches, demonstrations, fundraising activities, training courses, guided tours, workshops, group activities, performances or other organised events.
• Distribution, display, hanging or posting of promotional materials, advertisements, flags, banners, slogans or similar items.
• Use of amplifiers, loudspeakers or other equipment that may disturb others or affect park operations.
• Installation of tents, booths, display stands, filming equipment, large props or other temporary structures.
• Operation of drones, model aircraft, remote-controlled flying devices or kite-flying.
Nina Park reserves the right to require any unauthorised activity to cease immediately and may request the persons concerned to leave the park.
6. Prohibited Items
The following items must not be brought into or used within the park without prior permission:
• Dangerous, flammable, corrosive or hazardous substances.
• Weapons or offensive items.
• Skateboards, scooters, roller skates, bicycles and other wheeled transport devices (except wheelchairs, baby strollers and pet strollers).
• Launching devices or equipment that may pose a safety risk.
• Any other item deemed unsuitable for entry into the park by Nina Park staffs.
7. Use of Facilities
To ensure the proper use of facilities and the safety of visitors, please observe the following:
• Comply with the park's opening hours and facility usage requirements.
• Do not interfere with, move or damage any equipment or facilities within the park.
• Do not enter or use any area or facility that is closed, restricted or temporarily unavailable.
• Do not bathe or wash items in the park's water features.
