While strolling through the city, have you ever paused to admire trees around you? Trees not only bring greenery to the city but also carry rich natural and cultural stories. Nina Park is delighted to welcome Ms. Jessica Tsim, an expert from the International Society of Arboriculture Hong Kong Chapter, to lead a fun and inspiring journey into the world of trees!
The talk will introduce common tree species found in Hong Kong. Guided by real-life samples of leaves, bark, and fruits, you will experience the wonders of nature up close. Jessica will also share the stories of trees in Hong Kong, touching on history, culture, and ecology, offering a fresh perspective for appreciating the natural landscapes around us, encouraging reflection on the relationship between urban life and nature, and exploring the importance of tree conservation.
Whether you are a nature enthusiast or a city resident interested in urban stories, this is a relaxing activity suitable for individuals or families. Everyone is welcome to share their wonderful memories and stories about trees, and to explore the fascinating world of trees together!
