Nina Park’s Community Placemaking Programme blends elements of edutainment and cultural-tainment in collaboration with various organisations, transforming the park into a vibrant cultural space that encourages community interaction.
To deepen public understanding of ecological conservation and sustainable living, the park invites people from all backgrounds to explore its natural landscapes and fossil collections. In the coming months, a series of initiatives will be launched—focusing on education, health and wellness, community care, and Chinese cultural heritage—to bring communities together and foster a sense of belonging.

Mega Rehab proudly presents "Wellness DIY" community event at Nina Park on Saturday, 28 March 2026, from 2pm to 6pm. In today's world of abundant and often misleading health information, this event is based on Lifestyle Medicine and adopts a "Train-the-Trainer" model. It aims to encourage seniors to transform from passive recipients of health information into practitioners of community health promotion, serving community participants through "Teach Back" approach and sharing lifestyle medicine in the community.
Lifestyle Medicine is a new approach in preventative medicine that is increasingly emphasized globally. It aims to prevent, treat, and even reverse chronic diseases through lifestyle changes. Its six core elements—physical exercise, stress management, sleep and rest, healthy diet, connectness, and substance avoidance—act like six keys, unlocking the door to health and wellness for people from different age groups and functional levels.
This event not only imparts health management skills but also allows seniors to rebuild their self-worth through teaching and learning, becoming supporters and role models for others on the same path. We believe that retirement is not the end, but a new beginning for contributing to society and realizing oneself.
